We concluded

Our annual show

In March, PHC had
a wonderful retreat in Westminster, MD, with coaches Betty Clipman and Ida
Bilodeau. Don't let the word "retreat" throw you! Yes, we
got away from it all, but we used the time to work and practice and learn
--- with a big dose of fun thrown in -- what a great time we had!

 |
The holidays are
always busy for Potomac Harmony. We frequently kick off the season with
carol-singing at Meadows Farms Nursery for those searching for a tree and
trimmings. We have performed with the Alexandria Harmonizers and others
in their annual Holiday Music Festival at T.C. Williams
High School -- what fun!

We sang holiday music at Ballston Commons
Mall, standing at the base of the three-story tree.
During the month of December, our quartets sang at numerous private
parties and occasions, including high tea at the Bailiwick Inn in Fairfax
and the University Club in Washington, D.C. Then, we end the year
by singing on the afternoon of New Year's Eve at several nursing homes in
Northern Virginia.
